Custom 465®

UNS #S46500

Custom 465® is a premium melted, martensitic, age-hardenable stainless steel alloy capable of ultimate tensile strength in excess of 250 ksi in the overaged (H 950) condition. This alloy was designed to have excellent notch tensile strength and fracture toughness in this condition.

Overaging to the H 1000 condition provides a superior combination of strength, toughness, and stress-corrosion cracking resistance compared with other high-strength precipitation hardenable stainless alloys such as Custom 455® or 13Cr-8Ni.

Custom 465® is used in a wide variety of markets and applications.
